Finding Christ Relevant to Every Area of Life

2019 DDCommunity Challenge MORNING group

2019 DDCommunity Challenge
Will you read through ESV Bible and Gospel Transformation Bible Notes with DDCommunity in 2019?

Reserve your spot in the Thursday MORNING group here.

This interactive discussion group will meet from 10:00-Noon each Thursday morning in 2019 at DDCommunity Center.

In 2019 we invite you to join another challenge to read through the ESV Bible. For this challenge we will consider the 3rd stage of spiritual development, “Experience Forgiveness of Sin” and the 4th stage, “Desire Righteousness” by daily asking the questions,

1. What have I learned about sin?

2. What difference does that make in my life?

As we consider these questions throughout 2019, we will find ourselves convicted about sin in view of God’s holiness which will move us to desire righteousness in a deeper way. While it seems a daunting task to be convicted by God’s perspective of sin on a daily basis, the goal is to mature in our desire for a deeper relationship with Him as a result of experiencing forgiveness of sin.

Our Thursday morning discussion times will revolve around sharing what we have learned about sin and how that will impact our lives.

Along with our reading of Genesis through Revelation, we will also be reading the ESV Gospel Transformation Bible Notes which continuously point to the Gospel message threaded throughout the Bible. This will serve as an added commentary on the Good News that Christ offers so that we might be able to experience forgiveness of sin thus promoting a desire for righteousness.
