DDC: Creating Caring Cards

Create DesignVerses Cards

Monday, July 18th

2:00 – 4:00 pm

ages 10 and up

no experience necessary

The first step in spiritual maturity is to connect to God’s Word. This summer DDCommunity has provided ways for you to Creatively Connect to God’s Word (CC2G). Through our creative endeavors we can meditate on God’s truth and allow it to sink deep into our souls.

To enhance our artistic adventures, DDCommunity develops DesignVerses. As we have illustrated in our various CC2G classes, these graphically designed Scripture verses can be utilized for creative crafting, encouragement, enrichment, memorization, art therapy, conversation starters, card making, mixed media applications, Bible art journaling, scrapbooking, Scripture education, and so much more. Read more about DesignVerses on our post that introduces DesignVerses.

On Monday, July 18th, 2016 @ 2:00 we will Create DesignVerses Cards. With pretty papers, stamps, ink, and fun embellishments you will create cherished cards to share with others or keep for yourself to serve as reminders of God’s design for life. We will teach you how to craft lovely designs and walk you step by step through the process. We will also show you how to use DesignVerses files from the Etsy shop to create your own unique projects at home.

A limited number of spaces are available, so please register each family member who plans to attend and include names in the Comment box. Registration cut-off is 24 hours before the event. We look forward to having you and/or your family join us for a fun summer of Creatively Connecting to God’s Word!
