DDC: Dangle DesignVerses

Dangle DesignVerses

Thursday, June 30th

6:00 – 8:00 pm

ages 10 and up

no experience necessary

Have you ever tried Dangling? Hmmm… What in the world do you mean? I’ve dangled my legs by the swimming pool. I’ve had dangling threads on my sweater. I’ve even dangled a worm as bait for fish. Is that what you are talking about? Dangle Designs are a unique form of patterning aka doodling. Dangles embellish creative works with fanciful clusters of hanging strands; technically, horizontal “rods”, vertical “strings”, small round “pins” that attach a “string” to a “rod”, and the most important element – the “dangles” – icons that dangle from the “strings”, giving the design its characteristic name.  You get it now, right? No? Then you must join us for the fun class – Dangling DesignVerses on Thursday, June 30th.

Beginning at 6:00 we will teach and then practice fun dangling techniques that you can use to enhance DesignVerses to encourage your heart and solidify God’s Word in your soul. Your doodling artwork will never be the same! Your creativity will enjoy new dimensions.

Have you been thinking about art journaling? Learning these dangle techniques will transform your style from basic to extraordinary! This will also be a great time to learn skills that can be incorporated with Bible Art Journaling!

Necessary supplies, including awesome gel pens and DesignVerses, will be provided.
